At the end of April we had a long weekend, so I went to Hoi An, Vietnam with some girls from work. One of them had been there a few times before, so that was awesome to have a guide! We stayed at a wonderful house right on the beach, and spent lots of time in the pool, ocean, and shopping. Even though I really hate shopping, it was great because there were lots of tailors, so I was able to get a custom made dress for our graduation dinner. (since I'm so late on posting this entry, I actually have a picture of me wearing in at graduation in June! See last picture.) Overall another great weekend away and a great reminder of why I love living in SE Asia!

For our fall break, we decided to go to Cambodia and Vietnam. To be completely honest, I didn't even know Cambodia existed until I moved over to Asia. I don't know if that was just me, or if it's just not a popular place to visit from the US. Either way, it was amazing. One of the coolest places I've been to.
