I've now decided to only put days on here that are at least semi interesting. Hopefully I won't skip more than a couple. Maybe no one else will find this interesting, but this picture is a screen shot from my FitBit. I wear it at night (in addition to during the day for a pedometer) to track how well I sleep. Last night I slept amazingly, clearly. This is by far the best it's ever been. Usually I'm awake/restless about 5-10 times during the night. Last night, this shows that I didn't even move for about 7 hours. Never done that before. Must have been the crazy rain that made me sleep well!

Today was spent working on grad school work at home and doing a little bit of cooking and baking. My newest recipe that I'm absolutely in love with is similar to junior mints. So this is a picture of them. I'll put the recipe up on the blog soon! Also, right now we're in a black rain storm. I don't know exactly what that means, except that it's a really bad storm. The lightening is crazy right now. Just constant flashes. The rain is also ridiculously heavy and there's about 30 feet visibility. After school today, a bunch of us went out to celebrate a co-worker's promotion (she's works as a tech person here, but got a teaching job at another school in HK) and another co-worker's birthday. It was a very fun afternoon and evening :) I spent the morning trying to get our visas for China for Easter break in a couple weeks. Man was it difficult! And we won't get them until next week. And they cost over $150 (US) each! So this is a picture outside the China embassy, waiting in line. This was the first of many long waits this morning. It's finally starting to clear up! Yay not as much smog! This was the view from our apartment this afternoon. We're finally getting the skyline back :) We went to the grocery store today and they had a promotion where these sweet beer glasses came with the beer. So we had some delicious Erdinger at home out of the real glasses. Again, not too much was done today. Brandon's still recovering from surgery, so we just stayed at home. Here's a funny picture of Camo. I was marking papers and then when I got up, he stole my spot. And sat in a funny position. This is how exciting my life is now... Today was a lazy day around the house. Though I did manage to bake a few things. One of them being my favorite, healthy muffins. Zuchinni muffins from the 100 Days of Real Food website. So good. It was a friend's birthday, so a bunch of the teachers went out for drinks after school and into the evening. It was lots of fun! On another note, Brandon got his brace off today and everything looks good :) He's a little swollen, but should be back to normal in a few days. Surgery went well today! It was this morning and I went to the hospital to pick him up this afternoon. He gets the brace off tomorrow, so hopefully everything will look fine once it's off.
