Today was a little more interesting. We woke up super late (like 10 for me and 1pm for Brandon). We obviously weren't quite caught up from Europe. We decided to go check out the Space Museum in Tsim Shui Tsui. It was less than impressive. It looks like it was built in the 80s and hasn't been updated since. Regardless, it was fun just to walk around that area. Then we found an American food store. Like they import lots from Costco. Needless to say, we spent a lot. We then went to dinner at Burger King, one of the few Atkins friendly places. Though they have weird looks when Brandon orders 3 double cheeseburgers and then doesn't eat the bun. Haha. We then went and did our favorite things, respectively. Brandon went to a movie and I got a massage. Awesome. And then we met up for a drink on the top of IFC after, so overall it was an awesome night. There's a new Ferris wheel in HK, so that's what this picture is.

Not a very exciting week. Just trying to beat jet lag. Mon-Wed were pretty rough, especially with a really busy week at school. But I think we're better now. Brandon's at Atkins again now, so this picture is his snack. It's amazing that you can lose weight when your snack is cheese covered bacon. Well I already failed. It's going to be tough to do this when the only thing I do during a day is work. So I promise I will start trying to make them not all of Camo. But for one last one... Well today was short because of the time change. We arrived in HK around 3pm. I didn't really sleep at all, so I'm insanely tired now. The picture is kinda boring, but it's what I came home to :) He always misses us so much and just wants to cuddle when we get back. I love it :) Right now we're in Doha en route to Hong Kong. Unfortunately, we have a 6 hour layover here. That's what we get when we book the cheapest flights! This picture is of a weird bear sculpture here at the airport. I don't quite get it. Today was one of my favorite days of this vacation. We went to Plitvice Lakes National Park. It's lots of waterfalls and most we're frozen because it's winter, which was amazing to see. Ok, I'm going to actually stick wih this this year. I'm going to try and go back to posting regular blogs when we go on vacation or something big happens instead of every month, because clearly that didn't work. So right now we are in Croatia nearing the end of a there week European vacation. We rented a car and started in Dubrovnik and are making our way to Zagreb. Last night we spent our New Years in Split. It was really cold, so we called it an early night after sitting outside for a few drinks. And when I mean cold, I mean almost MN cold. Like 25 and windy. There were crazy fireworks that we could see from our hotel at midnight, so that was really cool. Today we're driving from Split to Zadar and this picture is from the drive. Croatia is an amazingly beautiful country to drive through. |
